What is Wood Oil? 

Wood oil is a specialist finishing product that both decorates and protects wood surfaces. It can be applied directly to bare woods and timber or sometimes over an existing wood stain.  

How Does Wood Oil Work? 

Wood oils work by penetrating below the surface of the wood, replenishing its natural oils to beautifully revive the natural colouring. Ideal for use on furniture, decking and even floors, wood oil builds up in layers to create a plastic-like coating that protects the material whilst forming a stunning finish. 

Furniture Oil 

Perfect for tables, chairs, benches, units, dressers and more, furniture oil creates a beautiful and durable finish for all of your wooden furniture pieces.  

Our quick-drying oils dry to touch-dry within just a fraction of the time, whilst our exterior garden furniture oils provide excellent weather and water resistance for optimum resilience. We also offer heat & alcohol-resistant oils as well as those designed with an added UV filter for robust sunlight protection. Decking Oil 

As well as enriching the natural characteristics of your wood deck, decking oil also forms a hard-wearing, weather-resistant coating that protects against moisture, decay, swelling, warping, splitting and cracking. Specialist oils can even help to shield against UV exposure, minimising the risk of greying, bleaching and weathering during the hot summer months.  

Floor Oil 

Although beautiful to look at, wooden floors do require an additional level of protection to withstand the wear and tear of daily life. Specially designed to shield against moisture, scratches, scuffing and spillages, floor oil provides tough, long-lasting defence against heavy foot traffic so you can walk, dance, run and play without destroying the gorgeous wood look.

Danish Oil 

Perfect for the beginner DIYer, Danish oil can be used internally and externally with easy application and a fast drying time. It penetrates quickly into the surface of the wood and cures a low-sheen finish that is very durable and water-resistant.  

Linseed Oil 

There are two main types of linseed oil available. Although raw linseed oil generally takes much longer to dry than other wood oils, it creates a smooth, shiny and protective finish with far less visible brush strokes. Boiled linseed oil incorporates additional specialist solvents which work to significantly speed up the traditional drying time for more practical application.   

Teak Oil 

With high elasticity, UV protection and weather resistance, teak oil is ideal for use on exterior hardwoods and garden furniture. As well as being very waterproof and nourishing but it also helps to minimise the risk of insect infestation for long-lasting durability.  

Tung Oil 

Organic and all-natural in formulation, tung oil is a popular, non-toxic product that quickly dries to a clear and durable finish. This water, food and alcohol-resistant oil are perfect for a range of both interior and exterior wood applications.  

Wax Oil 

Wax wood oil is designed to create a resilient and protective finish against water, stains, dirt, heat and wear whilst beautifully enhancing the natural look of hard and soft wood surfaces. It is easy to apply, low in odour plus can even be safely applied in humid spots of the home such as the kitchen or bathroom.
