Hobs usually go hand in hand with ovens. Some hobs, such as a couple of those found throughout our Cata selection, have been designed specifically to accompany ovens from the same manufacturers – perfect for those looking for a sleek and uniform kitchen.

Others are more versatile and can be used with other ovens as well as on their own, separated from any oven at all. Hobs make for wonderful, traditional additions to a kitchen, and come in several styles and sizes to ensure you can find the perfect one for your space.

Gas hobs are considered the more ‘traditional’ route with designs that suit rustic homes as well as modern ones. They come in a number of shapes and sizes, with different models coming with varying space numbers, determining how many items you can have heating at once.

Domino and ceramic hobs, on the other hand, are more ‘modern-looking' and also tend to be incredibly efficient. They are popular in contemporary layouts and are easy to both clean and control. Finally, induction hobs are economic alternatives that allow for a swift and effective cooking experience.

When it comes to any and all kitchen hobs, finding the ideal number of cooking zones is key. Four is the standard, with these zones often differing in size to accommodate different pots and pans. However, you will also find hobs with as few as two spaces for very small kitchens.
