Torx Screwdrivers

To access torx screws, use a Torx Screwdriver.

Specifically designed to tighten and loosen screws with a torx head; torx screwdrivers have a six-sided, pointed, star-shaped head that provides a great amount of torque when used on torx screws. You’re most likely to find torx screws used in bicycles, cars and on some electronics.

The benefits of this type of screw are its precision and, due to the increased torque, the tight fit they provide. Although there are many types of screwdrivers that can be mixed and matched between different screw heads (not something we recommend, as this increases degradation and wear quite significantly), you will only be able to access torx screws with a torx screwdriver.
