Ridge Vents

Ridge vents are very similar to roof tile vents, in that they allow for the flow of air through your roof and help to stop it from getting trapped and encouraging the growth of mould and mildew. The primary one is the location on your roof in which they are placed – as the name suggests, ridge vents are placed on the ridge – or apex – of the roof.

The idea behind their designs is to ensure that they remain inconspicuous up on your roof, which in turn keeps uniformity and neatness. Ridge roof vents are installed in a similar way to the products they are designed to accompany, and if your roof is being installed by a professional, they should be handling any ventilation installation for you.
