Fill and Flush Valves

Fill and flush valves are important elements of your toilet’s tank system, designed to control the filling and flushing of the cistern. Even if your existing flush valves are not broken, you may find that the current valve technology is outdated and not very water efficient. Within our range, we stock a range of modern valve models designed with ultra-practical features for water saving and even quieter flush operation.  

Within a toilet tank, two of the main valves include the flush valve and the fill valve. The flush valve allows the water to gush into the bowl during the flush and then the fill valve refills the tank once the flush is complete. 

A rubber seal or ‘flapper’ sits at the bottom of the flush valve and when activated by the flush button, lifts it up to push water out of the cistern into the bowl. Once the water has emptied, the flush valves drops down so that the fill valve can replace the water.
