Tile cleaning formulas are specially created to tackle common problems with tile cleanliness. However, there are number of different cleaning products that have been specially produced to help solve certain problems while proving less effective when used to tackle other issues. This is why it is important to understand the capabilities of any cleaning product you look at before deciding on whether to purchase.
Some tile cleaners are designed specifically to clean porcelain while others are better suited for stone and marble tiles. Meanwhile, you can purchase unique washing kits – comprising of a tray to hold the cleaner as well as a set of sponges and/or mops to apply the formula to the surface of your tiles. There are also colour intensifiers as well as protectors for unfinish tiles that help to preserve the surface without necessarily adding a sheen.
When using any tile cleaner, no matter its purpose, it is vital that the instructions on the bottle or tub are followed as closely as possible in order to get the best results. While some cleaners are designed to be left on the tile surface for an hour or more, others must be removed fairly quickly after application in order to avoid staining or residue. Instructions can be found on the packaging of the vast majority of our tile cleaner products.
